NADA Strongly Condemns Unlawful Arrest of Arun Chaudhary, Urges Government for Fair Investigations and Legal Process

NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) has condemned the arrest of Arun Chaudhary, an organization member and the managing director of CG | Holdings. CG | Holdings, a prominent business conglomerate, serves as the official distributor for Maruti Suzuki vehicles in Nepal.

According to a statement released by the organization, NADA is critical of the arrest of Chaudhary by the Nepal Police, stating that it was done without solid evidence and a proper basis for investigation. The organization is urging the government to refrain from arresting businessmen until a thorough study and investigation of the related issues have been conducted.

The press statement highlights the concern about the trend of arresting individuals first and then conducting investigations, claiming that it not only discourages businessmen but also has a potentially negative impact on the upcoming investment conference.
